Yes! Rest assured, ACE remains secure even after hours. Our dedicated security team maintains a watchful eye over the property, ensuring peace of mind for all residents.

The first step is to complete your application! The ACE leasing team is ready to help find the perfect floorplan for you! Contact our leasing office for availability and exclusive specials!

Adding a guarantor to your lease agreement is one of our various ways to qualify. A guarantor agrees to be financially responsible for the rent and assist with rent payments.

You are able to add a guarantor to your lease agreement as your preferred qualification method during the application process. However, there are multiple ways to qualify for the lease agreement if you do not wish to add a guarantor.

ACE offers roommate matching through RoomSync! Once you create an account you will be able to view other potential roommates and their answers to general lifestyle questions, as well as message them directly to see if you match! Text us RoomSync at (757) 414-7779 to receive a direct link to create your account!

ACE is pet friendly! To add a pet to your lease agreement, you will need to upload a picture of the pet, up-to-date shot records (including the rabies vaccine), and sign an Animal Addendum. You can message us directly through the Resident Portal or email info@aceberkeley.com to add a pet to your lease agreement or for more information. Applicable fees may apply.

ACE is now offering short term leases! We have 5 month, 10 month, and 12 month leases available in select floorplans. Contact our leasing office directly for our current availability!

Guest parking is available on Berkeley Way and Shattuck Ave. The Ace parking garage can only be accessed by residents.

If you haven’t already marked your calendars, grab a pen (or tell ChatGPT) to take note. As we get closer to your move in date, you will see updated check-in times listed here. More information coming to you soon!

If you want to avoid late charges (and who doesn’t?), you’ll want to make sure that your first installment is paid at a minimum of 1 day prior to your move-in date. Late charges will apply unless we have received the first installment payment within the two-day grace period.

You can pay online through the resident portal using a debit card, credit card or electronic checking transfer, or by automatic recurring charge to your debit card, credit card or bank account. There are no fees when paying from your bank account or by check.

You will receive a mail key upon move-in that will allow you to access your assigned mailbox on the first floor of the building. Larger packages and deliveries will be delivered to our Luxor Package Lockers, also located on the first floor. Once you have created an account with Luxor, you will be able to access your packages at any point in time for 72 hours before the delivery is returned. Cold storage is also available for perishable packages.

Lucky for you, water and Internet are included in your rental installment so don’t sweat, we’ll make sure the lights are on. Your electricity charges will be automatically added to your resident ledger which will be accessed in the same place as your rent in our resident portal.

It’s probably not something you normally think about, but you are required to have at least $100,000 of liability protection by the time you move in, and throughout your stay with us. This doesn’t cost much, and is designed to protect you if you accidentally cause a fire or flood. As unlikely as that sounds, if something happens, you’ll be glad to have it. How easy have we made it to take care of this requirement? You don’t have to do anything at all; we’ll automatically charge your account $15 per installment, waive the requirement to provide separate insurance, and buy our own insurance to cover the same risks. If you have your own liability insurance and don’t want to be charged for this, please upload your insurance certificate and we’ll let you know right away if it meets the requirements.

Click here for the resident portal link and register online. From here, you’ll want to make sure you can answer yes to each of the questions below:

Did you make your first installment payment?
Did you enter your vehicle information (if applicable)?
Did you sign any pending documents?
If you answered yes to all of the above, you’re one step closer to your new home. Besides that, all you need to bring with you is a valid photo ID.

Your apartment is fully furnished, but we know that your belongings have meaning.  We’ve put together a master packing list to help you plan ahead! You’ll find everything you need. And then some.

To access the main entrance, you can tap your key fob to the scanner and the left door will unlock. If you have a guest or lost your key fob, you can use the Butterfly MX Tablet or App to unlock the main entrance.

You will receive a key fob upon move-in that will allow you to access entrances to the building, the front door to your unit, and the amenity spaces. To unlock any door, including your front door, simply tap and hold the fob to the lock or door reader for 1-2 seconds until the door unlocks. The front door to your unit will automatically lock 30 seconds after being unlocked if you do not manually lock the door after entering. To lock your front door, tap the silver Yale button at the top of your lock.

Similar to how you access your front door, you will receive a key fob upon move-in that will allow you to access entrances to the building and the amenity spaces. Simply tap and hold the fob to the lock or door reader for 1-2 seconds until the door unlocks.
